About Nate: Nathaniel Burns PAC grew up in rural Maine. He has a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in music and philosophy. During undergrad, he worked at a nursing home, and he enjoyed this job so much that he decided to pursue a career in medicine. Nate moved to Vermont to complete a pre-medical certificate at UVM and then went to Northeastern University in Boston for his master’s degree. He started at NOTCH in the Richford office in 2013 and transitioned to the Georgia office in 2022. Primary care is his calling; he values long-standing relationships with patients and their families. His clinical interests include healthy eating habits, the gut microbiome, geriatrics, and critical appraisal of medical research. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, playing with his dogs, mountain biking, snowboarding, traveling, and playing music.

About Audrey:
Dr. Audrey von Lepel has been the Medical Director at NOTCH in 2018. She practices Internal Medicine at our Fairfax Health Center, which is the same location she delivered medical care at for nearly three decades prior to joining NOTCH. Dr. von Lepel attended Medical School in Guadalajara Mexico before completing her clinical rotations in the US, she completed the Internal Medicine residency program at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She made Vermont her home in 1988 when she opened Fairfax Associates in Medicine, a private Internal Medicine Practice in Fairfax focusing on Women’s Health and Preventive Medicine. She joined NOTCH in October 2017.
