Telehealth
In this time of social distancing, we continue to focus on keeping our patients and staff safe. To help accomplish this, NOTCH is increasing the use of computer technology to communicate with each other and our patients.
Telehealth Services are:
- medical services provided using a telephone or through video using a web camera.
- With a video visit, you and your NOTCH provider can see and hear each other, even though you are not in the same room. Video visits offer convenience allowing both you and your provider to better meet your medical needs in a more comfortable setting. NOTCH is providing video visits through a secure, HIPAA Compliant function embedded in our Electronic Medical Record.
- Telehealth services are billed to your insurance company the same way an in-person visit is billed to your insurance company – you will still be responsible for your co-pay and/or applicable co-insurance.
You can watch short video about NOTCH’s Video Visits (hosted by Medent) by clicking watching the video.
Schedule your Video Visit
You can request a medical appointment by contacting your NOTCH location. Your provider will determine the best way to treat you whether it is in person or by video. In order to participate in a video visit, you must have a smart phone or computer with a webcam. We use your cell phone number and carrier; or email address to send you your personal video visit link.
Connecting to your Video Visit
Once a video visit is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation by text and/or email. You will also receive a reminder text and/or email 30 minutes before the start of your appointment. Click the link inside the appointment confirmation to start the visit!
Patient privacy and data security are concerns that our team of Information Technology (IT) professionals take very seriously – protecting your health information is our goal.
