With multi-dose packaging, we fill multiple prescriptions, sort the doses by day and time, and pack them into daily packages with clear instructions about when to take them.
Any of the following unwanted medications can be disposed of in our kiosks:
- Over-the-counter medication
- Prescription medications
- Prescription patches
- Prescription ointments
- Vitamins
This Kiosk is located in the pharmacy waiting area.

About Johnny: Dr. Johnny Alexander is a licensed pharmacist with over 10 years of experience in the practice of pharmacy. He has relocated to Vermont from Texas, where he served as the Volunteer Health Clinic Liaison for the Capital Area Pharmacy Association and as a member of the Texas Pharmacy Association Public Policy Council. Dr. Alexander specializes in pharmaceutical compounding and herbal medicine, driving his passionate belief in treating each individual in a personal and holistic way. In their free time, Johnny and his family enjoy hiking, board games, attending renaissance festivals and playing music together.

About Cheryl: Cheryl Skaar grew up in rural upstate New York and has lived in Vermont since 2016. Prior to becoming a Pharmacist she was an elementary music teacher. She believes that everyone deserves compassionate high-quality medical care and strives to build close connections with all of her patients. Her personal experience navigating the healthcare system while living with chronic illness has given her perspective and drive to provide exceptional care to those struggling with complex and rare medical conditions. In her free time she enjoys nature walks, camping and kayaking with her husband and 2 rescue dogs.

After attending college in Albany NY, I returned to my home state of Vermont. I have always enjoyed living in a rural area where I can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, fishing, hunting, skiing and snowmobiling.

About David:
After graduating from Albany College of Pharmacy Dave moved to Rouses Point, NY to work at Ayerst lab for a year and a half. Dave and his family then found Franklin County, Vermont. He became a partner in an independent pharmacy and then sole proprietor and operated an independent pharmacy with his wife Susan for 32 years. Dave purchased Richford Rexall in 1974 and ran it until 1979. In 2002 he sold to Brooks Pharmacy and worked for Brooks and then Rite Aid for 10 years. Since then, Dave has worked per diem at the Notch Pharmacy in Richford. A personal highlight for Dave is when he won the Bowl of Hygeia in 1996. His personal interests include pigeon racing, horse racing, traveling and community services.
David is 2023 recipient of the 1866 Lifetime Achievement Award! The 1866 Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes sustained contributions to the profession of pharmacy and to the VPA. Nominees are active, retired or past members of VPA and not a previous recipient of this award and have been licensed for at least thirty (30) years with a track record of demonstrated support that has aided in the longevity of the Association.
